Greek Agnular Ionic

GreekAgnular Ionic

A Greek angular Ionic capital looks like Ionic capitals made in ancient Greece, with a twist. Like ancient Ionic capitals, the Greek angular Ionic capital has paired scrolling and includes classical egg and dart patterns.  Unlike ancient Greek capitals, the paired scrolls on a Greek angular Ionic capital are set at an angle. In addition, the uppermost part of an ancient Greek Ionic capital was square, while each of the four sides of a Greek angular Ionic capital is arched inward.
