Temple of the Winds

A Temple of winds capital has a square top surface, or abacus. Folding outward from the top of the shaft to the abacus, the capital is adorned with acanthus leaves that curl out and away from the capital’s lower surface. Above the acanthus leaves are stylized slender, pointed leaves that are carved in light relief extending to just below the abacus.
