Although it derives from the Greek Doric Capital, the Roman
Doric Capital is more closely related to that of the Tuscan Capital.
Extending from the astragal to meet the abacus, like it’s
Greek predecessor. The decorations on the astragal, molding and
abacus make the Roman Doric is an elegantly decorated, yet simple
capital.
