The Tuscan capital is the most understated design of all of
the classical orders. This capital style does not even have
the egg and dart decoration of Doric order capitals. A Tuscan
capital includes a simple ring below the cap. The cap arches
up to meet the square that rests below your building’s beams
or arches.
A Tuscan capital is virtually maintenance free after installation. This
capital will not chip, rot, or crack over time. A Tuscan
capital will not attract carpenter ants or termites. And,
a Tuscan capital is perfect for use both inside and outside of
a building.
The Tuscan capital is available in several sizes for your convenience.
With a choice in sizes, you may be able to use the Tuscan capital
throughout your building’s design for a uniform, pleasing
appearance. |
